Platform Overview

Getting Started

Create your account, connect your Microsoft tenant, and run your first risk assessment in under 10 minutes.

TrustCyber is a Microsoft-native security intelligence platform that analyzes your Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, scores your security posture across eight domains, and maps every finding to leading compliance frameworks. This guide walks you through the complete onboarding process from account creation to your first risk assessment.

Step 1 — Create Your Account

Navigate to trustcyber.com and click 'Run Free Risk Assessment'. You will be prompted to sign in with your Microsoft work account. TrustCyber uses Microsoft OAuth to authenticate users, so no separate password is required.

NoteTrustCyber requires a Microsoft work or school account. Personal Microsoft accounts (outlook.com, hotmail.com) are not supported.

Step 2 — Connect Your Microsoft Tenant

After signing in, the onboarding wizard will guide you through granting TrustCyber read-only access to your Microsoft 365 environment via Microsoft Graph. You will need to be a Global Administrator or Security Administrator in your tenant to complete this step.

  • Click 'Connect Microsoft 365 Tenant' in the onboarding wizard.
  • You will be redirected to the Microsoft consent screen.
  • Review the requested permissions — all permissions are read-only.
  • Click 'Accept' to grant access.
  • You will be redirected back to TrustCyber to complete setup.
WarningTrustCyber never requests write permissions to your Microsoft environment. All data collection is strictly read-only. You can revoke access at any time from your Azure Active Directory enterprise applications.

Step 3 — Run Your First Risk Assessment

Once your tenant is connected, TrustCyber will automatically begin analyzing your environment. The initial assessment typically completes within 5–15 minutes depending on tenant size. You will receive an email notification when your first risk report is ready.

Step 4 — Review Your Dashboard

Your dashboard displays your overall Risk Score (0–100), Compliance Score, Ransomware Exposure Score, and Copilot Readiness Score. Below the headline scores, you will see a breakdown of your security posture across eight domains: Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, Security Controls, Incident Response, Vendor Management, Data Privacy, and Business Continuity.

TipA Risk Score above 80 indicates a strong security posture. Scores below 60 indicate significant gaps that should be addressed through the Remediation Roadmap.
